3.1 No Sale of Data

3.2 Service Providers

We share information with trusted third-party service providers who help us operate the App:

  • Cloud Hosting & Storage: Railway (application hosting), MongoDB Atlas (database), Cloudflare R2 (file and media storage)
  • Authentication: Google, Apple OAuth services

Your conversations with Bloom — which may include your family’s names, your children’s details, and what you tell us about your family life — are sent to these providers so they can generate a response. Under these providers’ published terms for business API use, your content is not used to train their models. They may retain it for a limited period (typically up to 30 days) for abuse and misuse monitoring, after which it is deleted.
  • Payment Processing: Stripe, RevenueCat (for subscriptions)

All service providers are contractually obligated to protect your data and use it only for the purposes we specify.

When you add co-parents or service providers:

Upon deletion request, children’s information is permanently deleted within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.

5. Data Security

5.1 Security Measures

We implement the following security measures to protect your information:

  • Encryption in transit: All traffic between the App and our servers is encrypted with TLS.
  • Storage encryption: Our hosting providers (MongoDB Atlas, Cloudflare R2) encrypt stored data at the platform level under their own terms. We do not add a separate application-level encryption layer on top of that.
  • Authentication: OAuth sign-in and hashed passwords (bcrypt).
  • Access Controls: Role-based access, scoped to your family.
  • Monitoring: Application error and performance monitoring.

5.2 No Absolute Security

While we strive to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure. You use the App at your own risk.

emoGlow is operated from the United States, and our database and file storage are hosted in the United States. If you access the App from outside the U.S., your information may be transferred to, stored, and processed in the United States.

Our AI providers process requests on globally distributed infrastructure. This means the content of your conversations with Bloom may be processed on servers outside the United States, including outside your own country, depending on where the provider routes the request.

8.2 GDPR Safeguards

For EU users, we use Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission to protect your data during international transfers.

The App may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for their privacy practices. Please review their privacy policies before providing any information.
