Privacy
Privacy policy.
This policy covers this website — emoglow.ai — and the Google account connection used by the emoGlow app’s email feature (“the Binder”). It describes the small set of information we collect when you join the waitlist, send an investor inquiry, browse the site, or connect a Google account so the Binder can read parenting email on your behalf.
The broader emoGlow mobile product is rolling out. When the full app launches publicly, a separate, more comprehensive privacy policy will govern everything else the product collects (children’s information, parenting check-ins, AI conversations, and so on). The one product feature described on this page is the Google Gmail connection below — because Google requires its data-use disclosure to live on the privacy-policy URL you authorize against.
1. Who we are
emoglow.ai is operated by HRMVerse LLC, a private company headquartered in Fremont, California, USA. The founder is Bhumika Mishra. Privacy questions go to privacy@emoglow.ai.
2. What we collect on this website
We collect three things, all on submission, all the minimum we can.
Waitlist form
One email address. That is the entire payload. We collect it so we can write to you when there is space on the waitlist and a reason to write.
Investor inquiry form
Your name, your firm (optional), your email address, a short note describing what you are investing in this year, and an optional line about typical check size. We collect this so we can route the right brief and respond personally.
Server logs & metadata
For each submission we also store: the IP address of the submitting connection, the User-Agent header sent by your browser, the Referer header (if any), and a timestamp. Cloudflare — our hosting provider — also keeps standard request logs (IP, request path, response status, request time). These are used for security, abuse prevention, and basic site analytics.
3. Connecting your email (Google Gmail)
If you connect a Gmail account to the emoGlow app’s Binder
feature, we request read-only access to your Gmail
(the gmail.readonly scope) with your explicit consent. We
use this access solely to detect parenting-related
messages — school, activities, medical, and co-parent logistics
— and turn them into events, tasks, and reminders in your own
family calendar and record.
What we do and don’t do with Gmail data:
- We never send, modify, or delete your email.
- Raw email content is processed in memory and discarded immediately after extraction. We store nothing from the message body unless you explicitly turn on the optional “keep originals” setting — and even then the content is encrypted at rest and automatically deleted within 30 days.
- Your Google access and refresh tokens are encrypted at rest and are never written to logs.
- You can disconnect at any time, which halts access and lets you delete the data extracted from your email.
Limited Use. emoGlow’s use of information
received from Google APIs adheres to the
Google API Services User Data Policy, including
the Limited Use requirements. Data accessed via
gmail.readonly is not transferred or
sold to third parties, not used for advertising, and
not used to train generalized or AI models.
4. What we do not collect
- We do not set tracking cookies.
- We do not run third-party advertising or behavioural-tracking scripts.
- We do not collect children’s information through this website. The waitlist and investor forms are intended for adults.
- We do not buy audience data, append data from data brokers, or enrich the entries you give us with information from other sources.
5. Where the information lives
Submissions are stored in Cloudflare’s Workers KV — a key-value store on Cloudflare’s global network. Cloudflare keeps standard edge logs as part of operating the site. We may also send a notification email to the founder summarizing the submission, so we can respond promptly. Notification emails contain the same information you submitted, no more.
6. How long we keep it
We keep waitlist entries until we have invited you to use the product or you ask us to remove your record — whichever comes first. Investor inquiries are kept for the duration of the conversation we have with you, plus a reasonable period for our records (typically up to 24 months from your last contact). Cloudflare server logs follow Cloudflare’s default retention (currently 30 days for standard logs).
7. Sharing
We do not sell, rent, or trade your information. We do not share it with advertisers or analytics aggregators. The two service providers that touch this data — Cloudflare (hosting, storage, email) and Google Fonts (the typefaces this page is set in, which are loaded directly from Google) — act on our behalf or are contacted directly by your browser as part of rendering the page.
8. Your rights
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete any record we hold about you, at any time, by emailing privacy@emoglow.ai. We will respond within 30 days. If you live in California, you also have the rights afforded by the CCPA / CPRA, including the right to know, the right to delete, and the right to opt out of any sale or sharing of personal information — though we do not sell or share for cross-context behavioural advertising. If you live in the UK or the EEA, the GDPR rights apply, including the right to data portability and the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority. Our lawful basis for processing is your consent (forms) and our legitimate interest in operating a secure website (server logs).
9. Children
The emoglow.ai website is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or under 16 in regions where that is the relevant age) through this website. The forthcoming emoglow product, when it launches, will operate under a separate child-data policy designed to comply with COPPA, the GDPR-K provisions, and other applicable child-privacy law. Until then, this website does not collect children’s data.
10. Security
The site is delivered over HTTPS with HSTS enabled. Submissions are stored in encrypted-at-rest Cloudflare KV. Access to the data store is limited to the founder and authorized personnel. We hold ourselves to a higher bar than the law requires — parenting data, when it eventually arrives, is the most intimate data a household generates, and the habits we are forming on the website today are the habits we will keep when the product launches.
11. Changes
If we update this policy, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of the page. Material changes will be surfaced on the home page and emailed to anyone on the waitlist before they take effect.
